Maxel Amador

Maxel Amador was born in Havana, Cuba and moved to Miami with his mother shortly thereafter where he grew up to study performance in many areas. He attended New World School of Arts to learn acting, singing and dancing in their Music Theatre magnet program. After High School, he attended Elon University and achieved his Music Theatre Bachelor in Fine Arts. Maxel graduated with credits such as Sonny in In The Heights and Ali Hakim in Oklahoma. After graduating he interned at Orlando Shakespeare Theatre and then Arkansas Shakespeare theatre, where he performed in various shows and musicals throughout. When his tenure at the Shakespeare theaters finished he moved to New York City where he originated a new musical 'A Crossing', was the drummer for 'Jersey Boys' and has appeared in various TV Shows and movies since.
