Alex Kersting was raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, and graduated high school in Henderson, Nevada, (Coronado High School).
Alex has always had a love of performing and entertaining people, especially with comedy.
Alex enjoys improv and writing scripts and skits. He was challenged by taking his breakthrough dramatic role of Butter in Paul A. Kaufman's film Butter, where he starred opposite Oscar Winner Mira Sorvino.
Alex studied under Myra Turley during production and gave it his all to earn rave reviews. "In his first major role, Kersting successfully navigates a fine line, convincing us that he is both an alienated pariah and a musical prodigy. - Washington Post"
Alex won Best Actor from the Block Island Film Festival and the New York Film Awards for his role in "Butter" (2022).
