Anvita Sudarshan has a Masters Degree in Film Making from New York Film Academy and is trained at Advanced Level from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. She was schooled and educated in Japan, India, Kuwait, UK and USA. At 11, she secured full scholarship to study in UK and at 14, she co-founded and served as Junior Editor for 'Geo Junior', published by Gateway Media. She forayed into pageantry and won 'Miss India Kuwait 2011' and 'First Runner-up of Miss India Worldwide 2012' besides being a finalist in 'I Am She Miss India Universe 2011' and 'Femina Miss India South 2010'. She served as a judge in 'Miss India New York 2013 and Miss India USA 2013'. She also modeled extensively in the Mumbai Fashion Industry before moving on to film making, In the past 2 years, Anvita has made 6 short films, written scripts and has also assisted Film Maker Aditya Bhattacharya on his recent two ventures. Her doctoral research interest within an endeavour on how the Indian Film Industry has influenced Indo-European cultural exchange in the recent years is being considered by the Danish Research Council for support.
