Owing to his commerce background, Jitin landed a job in Corporate Banking with the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) in New Delhi. He worked with HSBC for over 8 years. He is also a trained Jazz dancer having trained with Ashley Lobo's Dance Institute 'Danceworx'.
His first portfolio was done by the famous photographer Vishesh Verma who referred him to a few casting agencies. Jitin quit his banking job in 2009 and started modeling full time. He landed impressive campaigns across both the fashion and commercial sectors and has since appeared in over 100 advertising campaigns for major brands like Raymond, Lifestyle, Smirnoff, L'Oréal Matrix, Anita Dongre (AND) and many others. Not losing touch with his years in the financial sector, Jitin also started teaching Banking and Finance, alongside modeling, at one of the leading MBA institutes in Mumbai. Jitin's big break in acting came when he was cast in Eros International and Anubhav Sinha's "Warning 3D", directed by Gurmmeet Singh and released in 2013.
