Joshua was born in Walthamstow, East London. After graduating from Drama Centre in 2013 he went on to have a series of successes within the year playing the roles of PC Mike Randall in the ITV series 'Vera', Ray, one of the co-founding members of LGSM in the true story and feature film 'Pride' (starring Bill Nighy, Andrew Scott, Dominic West and Paddy Considine) and Constable Scott in Brian Helgeland's Working Title feature film 'Legend', another true story about the Kray Twins starring Tom Hardy and Christopher Eccleston.
