Maggie Betts

Maggie Betts is an American screenwriter and film director. Born and raised in New York City, she attended Princeton University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She is the daughter of Roland Betts (a real estate developer) and Lois Betts. In 2017, Maggie won the Breakthrough Director Award at the Sundance Film Festival for her feature debut, "Novitiate".
