Sam Gipson

Sam Gipson

Sam Gipson was raised in the small farming community of Mansfield, WA (pop. 372). In Mansfield he did small jobs for the local newspaper and worked as a farm hand for his girlfriend's father. High school drama sparked a professional interest in acting so during the summer of his first year of college he performed in front of an audience at the TalentRock talent contest in Orlando Florida. There he took top prize ($5,000) and quickly moved to Los Angeles to change his course of study from Journalism to Drama. He began studying at Playhouse West, under the tutelage of the Robert Carnegie and now is a student of Ivana Chubbuck's. He quickly began working - landing small roles on Nickelodeon's Just Jordan, CW's 90210 and larger roles in independent films and local theater. In addition to acting, Sam teamed up with David Neuman to design and lead a nationally renowned art installation, Black Rock Bijou which is constructed annually for the Burning Man art festival. The Bijou is a lonely, deserted yet fully functional movie theater in the most remote area of the festival.
