
Kyle Butenhoff
Kyle Butenhoff is an American actor best known for his work on the Netflix Original Series Dear White People (2017). Butenhoff is rapidly rising through the ranks of Hollywood's young talent pool, distinguishing himself through his versatile performances. Kyle was born in San Francisco, California to bartender Eric and flight attendant Kim. After spending a majority of his early years in the bay area his family moved to Denver, Colorado where Kyle first found his love for acting. He starred in numerous stage productions of Shakespeare's classic works including Romeo in Romeo and Juliet and Lysander in Midsummer Night's Dream before switching his focus to film and television, moving to Los Angeles in 2015.
Kyle has since gone on to star as the main antagonist in the most watched YouTube series of all time How To Survive High School (2015) as well as television roles on Murder Among Friends (2016) and the aforementioned Dear White People (2017). Kyle's breakthrough into the film industry came when he was cast in the Sony feature Isle of the Dead (2016) alongside television star Joey Lawrence as the doomed Private Pugh, along with a small role on the critically acclaimed Other People (2016) starring Molly Shannon. Kyle is set to appear in the feature film M.F.A (2017) and has completed production of his upcoming role on the long running classic soap series, Days Of Our Live (1965-).
