He graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2002 and then spent 3 years with the Royal Shakespeare company. He has performed world premieres of works by John Grogan, Owen McCafferty, Nona Sheperd and in 2013 was a member of the re-formed internationally acclaimed Field Day Theatre company, performing the world premiere of Sam Sheperd's A particle of Dread.
