Cristina Encarnacion is a Dominican actress from Florida best known for her role as River Mounier in the renowned HBO's 'Insecure' and 'Blackish' writer Keisha Ansley's debut short 'Nirvana Love & Alcohol'. Having trained under experienced Film & TV acting coach Michael Jacques, her ability to land leading roles became prominent. Her most recent role as Kaylee in the film 'Centennial of Love' has garnered her first opening screen credits. Her role as Cha-Cha in the short film 'Soñadora' was her first Tribeca Film Festival debut under the production of Lena Waithe's company Hillman Grad Productions and their 'Indeed Rising Voices' initiative.
