Stephen Hunter

Stephen Hunter has worked extensively across both film and television in both Australia and New Zealand. Stephen's breakthrough big-screen role was as the Dwarf, BOMBUR in three of Peter Jackson's films The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies. Stephen's long list of television credits includes Network Ten's Love My Way, Seven Network's All Saints & Home & Away, Janet King S2 for ABC, ABC comedy Rosehaven, WBTV/HBO's The Leftovers, Wolf Creek Series 2 for STAN, WANTED for Channel 7and Fresh Eggs for Warner Brothers NZ. Stephen's feature film roles include Blue World Order, starring alongside Billy Zane & Jack Thompson, the Sundance Film Festival hit, Killing Ground, the critically acclaimed Australian feature The Merger, with John Howard & Kate Mulvany, the Chinese/Australian feature The Whistleblower, UK/Australian film Two Heads Creek, with Gary Sweet & Kerry Armstrong, and most recently, alongside Daniel Radcliff, in his new film Escape from Pretoria. Stephen was also lead role opposite David Gulpilil, in the Weinstein Company produced short film MESSiAH directed by Damian Walshe-Howling. Stephen is recently starred as OTTER in the US TV show Reef Break for ABC Network.
