Jacqi was born in Reno Nevada on a small farm. Her family moved to Tucson when she was 10 years old. She fell in love with theatre and became interested in Commedia Del'Arte where she was able to write, direct and star in her own shows. She moved to Los Angeles on her own at the age of 18 and made her way into film.
