Samantha Kim Daniel was born in Gunsan, South Korea, to a father of Middle Eastern and European descent and a Korean mother. She spent time living in South Korea and Japan before moving to the U.S. at the age of eight. She holds a B.F.A. in Acting from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
